I have a passion for training and the services I offer are focused on helping all those I work with achieve what they want to...
All of the dog training courses, individual training plans and Career courses I offer have been carefully designed as a result of 20 years experience. I have experience as a groomer, dog walker, daycare provider, home boarder and the bulk comes from working in dog training and behaviour.
While my work experience is vital to help those attending my training, I also have Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications in training adults so you can be confident you'll have a professional and supportive experience.
I really look forward to working with you - Angela

I began working with dogs in 1995, starting out in Dog Grooming and quickly moving into the field of Training and Behaviour. I began Progress Dog Training with a vision of helping pet dog owners raise pets who are a pleasure to have at home and within our society.
The business grew to running over 20 classes a week offering obedience, agility and gundog courses mainly from a training centre in Bexleyheath. In addition, my Individual Behaviour work increased, with many more clients approaching me through recommendation from existing clients and professionals. I decided to concentrate on offering professional services to a high standard to all of my clients and I thoroughly enjoy sharing all my experiences on the variety of Career Courses I provide. I hold a Level 3 award in Education and training and a Level 5 Teaching certificate which offers clients confidence in my ability to train people , not just dogs!
I have been lucky enough to take part in organising enjoyable activities such as fun dog shows, daycare, charity displays and various related activities. Personally I have had articles published in the local press, the Bexley Times and the Chronicle and also have a book published called ‘The New Puppy Owners Manual’. I have provided assessments on dogs when required for legal reasons and have worked with a few of our local veterinarian practices.
In addition to formal qualifications, I have almost 20 years of experience working with owners under many different circumstances. Whether you are part of a family, single, a home worker or dealing with changing situations, I understand that every client is different and what works for one does not necessarily work for another!
I have experience of puppies, adult dogs, rehomed dogs, mistreated dogs, and sensitive or challenging dogs, providing objectives and support for their basic training needs to complete Behavioural rehabilitation.
I use reward based training with a variety of modern techniques as appropriate with an emphasis on combining a Behavioural approach with the discipline of training.
Working in the dog industry for over 20 years in such a variety of roles, from working indivudally to owning a large training, daycare and grooming centre has given me the knowledge to help others succeed in careers in these fields.
